Dr. Jim Roberts, DVM, DVCP
Dr. Jim Roberts is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Roberts went to the University of Louisville, for Chemical Engineering at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, and also completed the required pre-veterinary/biology curriculum through UofL. He then attended Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Veterinary Doctorate Degree, graduating in 2000. Dr. Roberts received the Auburn CVM Dermatology Award during his senior year. He performed his preceptorship at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Services with Louisville’s Surgery Specialist Dr. Randy Graehler, and Medicine Specialist Dr. Catherine Daley. In 2007 Dr. Jim Roberts attended the Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) Seminar and received his accreditation as a Certified Veterinary Chiropractitioner.
Dr. Roberts has practiced in the Kentuckiana area since 2000. He has been certified in and provided VOM Technology (a veterinary healing technology that incorporates therapies from both veterinary medicine and chiropractic care) for 14 years. His other areas of special interest include, Laser Therapy, Preventative Care, Wellness Care, Dermatology, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Echocardiography.
Dr Jim Roberts spends his free time traveling, watching movies, being with friends, collecting WWII militaria and comics, singing Karaoke, and costuming (trooping) with the Star Wars 501st/Rebel Legion for fun and community service.
